The Kansas City Alumnae Chapter was honored with the Alumnae Crown of Excellence Award for the SECOND year in a row!
The Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter was installed November 16, 1935. The charter members were Margaret Flottman Bryant, HH; Esther Bucher, HH; Virginia Lamb Carder, HH; Dorothy Clifton, AB; Kathryn Lamb Keirns, HH; and Mary Kay Rieff, HH. The chapter supports area collegiate chapters and has several members involved at the local, district, and national sorority levels. The Wilma Wilson Sharp Scholarship was established by the chapter. In addition, the chapter has received the Crown Alumnae Chapter designation every year since the designation was established in 2000.
